Many of you joined our great
Association by "word of mouth" from
a colleague, friend or family
member. Word of mouth advertising
is a powerful tool, and that's
why I'm inviting you to be part of
the 2009 NAUS member-get-a-member
campaign:
OPERATION I GOT MINE!
When you sign
up at least one new NAUS member
between now and October 15th,
you'll help NAUS continue to grow,
strengthening our voice, and
honoring the promises made to those
who serve in uniform. Plus, you'll
earn a chance at one of several
"Thank You" prizes for your
membership recruitment efforts.
A special
membership application form,
recruiting tips, and more
information about the campaign -
including prizes you can win -
are available on the award-winning
NAUS website.
It's easy to participate in the
I Got Mine! campaign. Use this
special
membership application form, and
be sure to write in your name and
membership number in the "Recruited
by" block at the top. The new
member must then remit dues payment
information and send the completed
form and payment information to NAUS.
If your new member joins online, he
or she will have to send a
separate email to
recruit@naus.org including your
name and membership number as the
member who recruited them in order
for you to receive credit. You may
also use regular NAUS membership
application forms, BUT your name and
membership number must be clearly
written on the form in order for you
to receive credit. The campaign
form will also be printed in
the next Journal, due to be
published in early September.
For each new member you recruit
during the I Got Mine!
campaign, you'll receive one entry
into the prize drawing pool.
You could win the Grand
Prize - a $500 Marriott gift
card, or one of the three Second
Prizes - a $250 Marriott gift card.
The more members you recruit, the
more chances you have to win.
Every member who recruits a new
member during the
I Got Mine! campaign
will be listed on the NAUS website
and in a special section of the USJ
(unless you request not to be
listed).
Plus, recruit 2 new members and get
a
free NAUS ball cap.
Recruit 5 new members, and you'll
earn a
free NAUS polo shirt.
